 Desmond Brown is a legal advisor to NAI and is also currently the chief legal counsel for Sound Transit in Seattle, where he advises the agency in business matters associated with building a $6.0 billion regional transportation system. Desmond also represents the Sound Transit in constitutional litigation before the Washington State Supreme Court. Before joining Sound Transit in 1997, he worked as a real estate and intellectual property attorney for the Preston Gates & Ellis Law Firm and for KingCounty. Jonas Nicholson is a Lead Software Design Engineer in the Automotive Division of Microsoft Corporation developing embedded Windows CE devices for the automotive market. He functions as a technical liaison between Microsoft, Fiat Group and Magneti Marelli. Over the past five years he has worked in the US, Japan and Europe. His current project’s technologies include, GPRS, GPS, Bluetooth, speech centric HMI and Code Access Security. Preceding positions included work within the Enterprise Storage Division of Hewlett Packard and the Advantage Data Base Solution of Extended Systems. Jonas Received a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Idaho. He currently resides in Turin, Italy.
